To create a slider on your home page, you need to go to the slide post type and first create a new group. Then add slide in the group by adding the title of the slide (which is not displayed). Add the contents of the description that is displayed as slider caption over the slider. In Featrued Image option the image you want to appear in the slide. Then repeat this process for each new slide that you want to add in this group. Then go to Appearance » Widgets » Add Slidebar and create a new sidebar in which you’ll add widget Slider. You need to set widget Slider to read the slides from the group that you created for this purpose and set other options on the slider as you like. Then, go to the Edit Page and in the Page Builder Top (or another position) activate widget Slider, choose a column (100%) to display the slider and save the changes you made to the page. This way your slider will be displayed on the page in the section Top.
