Installation
Chameleon theme is very flexible because the organization of content is based on the widget insertion in correct sidebar.
After theme instalation the content of your site is completely empty.
The first step you need to do is add widgets in sidebars on the part Appearance » Widgets, or Customize » Widgets.
For example: add the widget The Chameleon – Elements in the sidebar Header. That way you display your logo in theme header.
The advantage of The Chameleon theme is that the widgets that you are getting with the activation of some of the plugins you can immediately use in the organization of your site.
Basic theme sidebars are:
1. Upper is content that is displayed above the headers designed for The Chameleon widget – Social Network icons and for the Custom Menu widget as well as for other widgets.
2. Header is the main part of the site in which it is necessary to add a widget The Chameleon Elements selecting logo option and so you’ll show you logo in the header.
3. Top is content that is displayed under the header and it’s designed for The Chameleon Elements widget option Breadcrumbs.
4. Page is sidebar that is displayed on Pages, in Archives and on Blog as default sidebar.
5. Post is sidebar that is displayed on single post pages as main sidebar.
6. After Post is predestined for adding content that appear under the Single Post content and before comments.
7. Bottom sidebar is displayed under the main content before footer.
8. Footer is part of the site that is displayed on all pages and you can optionally add wigets in it.
9. Copyright is part of the theme that is predestined for The Chameleon Elements widget option Copyright. That way you’ll show copyright text on the bottom of the theme of your site.

Theme Options
For every main part of the site in part Customize » Theme Options you can adjust number of columns, wrap and animate effect for widgets in that part of the theme.
1. Wrap -has three options for showing the content and those are Box, Strach and Fullwidth. My advice is to change and see which effect you get with that option.
2. Columns – choose number of columns in which will be displayed widgets for that part of the site.
3. Animate – choose widget animation in that part of the site.
4. Duration – length of animation.
5. Delay – Delayed start time of the animation.
What are Skins for Chameleon theme?
Skins are designs that you can activate on your theme using are plugin The Chameleon Expansion (which you can download completely free from our site ) and so completely change design of your site.
After the activation of the Chameleon Expansion on your theme will appear option Appearance » Skins. There you can import skins for your theme.
After you import skin you need to activate it on Customize » Theme Options » Skins.

How to organize page content? 
Pages can be organized in 6 different templates which you can choose in Page Attributes.
- Default Template – is Fullwidth template without sidebar
- Left sidebar – page with left sidebar
- Right sidebar – page with right sidebar
- Double sidebars – page with left and right sidebar
- Double left sidbears – page with two sidebars on the left side
- Double rigth sidebars – page with two sidebars on right side
For every page you can choose sidebars which you can make on Appearance » Widgets » option Custom Sidebars
1. Primary sidebar is displayed on all pages with sidebars except on Default
2. Secondary sidebar is displayed on templates with two sidebars like Double sidebars, Double left sidebars, Double right sidebars
How to use Page Builder?
Our Page Builder is based on adding widgets in Meta Boxes page sections that are designed for it.
First you need to make sidebars which you want to call in page builder sections.
Sidebars you can make on Appearance » Widgets » option Custom Sidebars .
After you make sidebars you need to call them in sections, choose number of columns and animations for widgets in that sections.
After that you can go to Customize and in Widget options add widgets in sidebars which you called in sections of that page.
Page Builder has nine sections:
1. Header – replace main header content only for that page.
2. Top – replace Top content for that page.
3. Main –here you can adjust main wrap if you need fullwidth page overview.
4-8. Sections from 1 to 5 –are sections in which you can add content of your page.
9. Bottom – replace bottom content for that page.
Options in sections are next:
1. Wrap – Choose wrap for section, combine with Main wrap if you want to display fullwidth or stretch layout.
2. Sidebar – Choose sidebar which you can make on Appearance » Widgets » Custom Sidebars
3. Columns – Choose number of columns in which will be displayed Widgets in that section.
4. Class – Choose dark or light combination of that section or add your custom CSS class.
5. Animate – Choose animation for widgets in that section – animate.com
6. Duration – Choose runtime of animation for Widgets.
7. Delay – Choose widget displaying delay time.
How to organize category content?
Every category you can organize in 6 templates so as page with possibilities of showing posts from 1 to 6 columns. Also you can choose sidebars for every category.
Options for adjusting categories are next:
1. Wrap – choose wrap
2. Tempalte – choose one of 6 listed templates ( Fullwidth – full width of the site without sidebars, Left sidebar – post list with left sidebar, Right sidebar – post list with right sidebar, Doubel sidebars –post list with left and right sidebars, Double left sidebars – post list with two sidebars on the left side, Double right sidebars – post list with two sidebars on the right side)
3. Columns – number of columns in which will be shown posts. With Template combination you can shape categories in many ways.
4. Posts per page – this option you use to align number of posts in category. For example: if you use 3 columns then the number of the posts should be 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 etc.
4. Primary Sidebar – Sidebar which is displayed on every templates except on full width.
6. Secunadry Sidebar – sidebar which is displayed if you select template with two sidebars – you can make sidebars on Appearance » Widgets » Custom Sidebars
7. Primary – choose number of characters for post title.
8. Post Meta Pattern – pattern for showing meta data for category posts. Use helpers and awesome fonts icons to show meta post.
9. Post Content – choose number of characters for post content
How to adjust options on posts?
Chameleon theme supports all post formats. For some post formats are planned options for input content.
Template for posts you can adjust on Customize » Theme Options » Post where you can also adjust meta pattern.
Additional meta boxes on posts are next:
Featured Media
For video and audio post format use these options to display video or audio or some of media formats which WordPress supports.
1. Featured Media – enter link from YouTube or some other media which WP supports and choose video post format.

2. Featured Audio – enter auto file link uploaded on your site in .mp3 format and adjust post format on audio.
Post Formats Box
Use this box to adjust options for blockqote and link post format
1. Quote author name – use this option to add name of the author for Quote post format
2. Link post format – use this option to enter link for link post format
Sidebras
Every of the posts can have different sidebars which you can make Appearance » Widgets » options Custom Sidebars
1. Primary sidebar is displayed on all templates except on fullwidth
2. Secondary sidebar is displayed on templates with two sidebars
3. Footer sidebar is displayed in post footer after the content before post comments.
How to make custom sidebars?
In Appearance » Widget » options Custom Sidebars you can make unlimited number of sidebars which you can use in page builder or you can add them on pages, posts or categories.
1. Make new sidebar with unique name
2. Delete existing sidebar
How to set up The Chameleon Widgets?
The Chameleon – Elements
Use this widget to show logo in header, breadcrumbs in top and copyright text in copyright section.
1. Element – choose which option you want to show
2. Logo Type – choose type of the logo text or image
3. Logo – logo url if it’s selected that logo shows as picture. If logo is text then it shows site title and site description.
4. Copyright Text for copyright option
5. Breadcrumb delimiter – sign for space for breadcrumbs option
The Chameleon – Recent Posts
Advanced version of Recent post widget with advanced options.
Use this widget to show posts in original post format.
The Chameleon – Empty
This widget doesn’t show any content. Use this widget to move content in columns.
Example: You want to put logo on the middle of the header. Choose on Customize » Theme Options » Header » option Columns number of columns 3 then put empty widget in first column and in second put widget The Chameleon Elements and choose option logo. That way your logo will be shown in the middle of the header.
The Chameleon – Featured Content
Very useful widget for displaying featured content. With this widget you can add boxes with title, images, videos, text, button for action.
